Terra Bloom
★★★★☆ 4.2
Terra Bloom is the cozy game I didn't know I needed. You take a dead valley and slowly bring it to life — plant the right things, attract insects, and watch a whole food chain stitch itself back together. There's no fail state, just steady growth.
The sim side is deeper than it looks. Pick the wrong plants and nothing takes root, but get the balance right and the valley starts surprising you with wildlife you didn't deliberately place. Watching a new bird show up because you accidentally built the right habitat is genuinely delightful.
It's slow and meditative, best played in short daily check-ins. If you want something peaceful to tend over a few weeks, Terra Bloom is a lovely companion.
