About
Pocket Finds started as a shared chat between a few friends who kept sending each other weird little games we'd stumbled on. At some point we figured other people might want the same kind of recommendations, so we turned it into a proper site.
We focus on indie and small-studio mobile games across every genre. Puzzles, racing, strategy, slow role-playing games you can pick up on a bus ride — if it's interesting and it fits in a pocket, we'll write about it.,The way we choose games is simple: someone on the team actually plays it. We don't review from trailers or store pages. A game usually gets a few hours before anyone writes a line, and if it's a longer title it sits with us for a week or more.,We're a small group and we like it that way. There's no office, just a running group chat and a shared folder of notes. Nobody tells us what to cover, and we'd rather drop a game than pretend we liked it.,If you want to know whether something is worth downloading, that's what this place is for. We try to be the friend who already tried it so you don't waste your evening.
Lukas Berger — Lukas has been writing about games since his student days and runs the editorial side of Pocket Finds. He's the one who insists every title gets played to the end before it's published.
